Kids ConnectAre you looking to become involved in a meaningful, hands-on experience? To expand your learning outside of the classroom? To connect with new friends across the world? To help make a difference in the lives of women and children? To gain an interactive and personal experience in philanthropic work?

World Connect makes it simple. Students choose a project to support and then coordinate with World Connect staff to explore these interest areas in unique and creative ways. You will receive regular reports, photos, and videos from the field, allowing you to see the direct impact you are making. Through fundraisers, you can raise both money and awareness for projects supporting women and children in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Testimonials

“I became involved with Kids Connect my freshman year of high school and for the past eight years it has fundamentally shaped my understanding of global awareness. Kids Connect has provided me, and many more students and young adults, with a platform to engage in experiential learning through personal and global connections to communities around the world. These connections have the power to teach the importance of civic action, facilitate strong leadership skill building and empower young people to make a change in the world as they become active participants of benevolent change. I invite you and your school to join us in our quest to empower youth to reach their philanthropic potential through our Kids Connect program.” - Gwen Jahnke
“The Bay View chapter of Kids Connect was so honored to be given the opportunity to Skype with a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sefrou, Morocco about a project we have been working on all year to fund. Carrie, the Peace Corps Volunteer we talked to, was able to tell us how our project was going and about the community. Hearing her speak really inspired all of us to keep up the work we are doing on our campus and to continue to strive to spread awareness about the needs of the developing world. Carrie herself is so passionate about the work that she does and it was apparent that being able to hear her speak in person was so rewarding for chapter members. Our Skype session created a direct connection between what we were doing in the US and how it is affecting the project in Morocco.” - Megan Nadeau
